What a year!
We are now at the end of a difficult and crazy year. At the end of a year full of unexpected events. This year has torn us out of our everyday lives, out of everything that was previously "normal" for us. And it has pushed many of us to our limits: health-wise, humanly, existentially. I would therefore like to take this opportunity ...

Back to Panzano!
The time has come - my #SehnsuchtChiantiClassico has come to an end! Because at the moment I'm writing these lines, I'm sitting in my favorite spot in Panzano in Chianti, my feet on the little stone wall, my laptop on my lap. The vineyards are a lush green, my café smells of lavender and the bees are buzzing eagerly.

The last few weeks and months have been difficult for all of us. While we are slowly getting used to the new normality, the longing for faraway places remains strong. The past few months have been characterized by restrictions - travel was not possible, borders were closed and staying at home was the order of the day.

There is a glimmer of hope these days, as the coronavirus measures in Austria, Germany and Italy are slowly being relaxed. There is even the prospect that the border between Austria and Italy will be opened this summer.
