This Chianti Classico Riserva clearly shows its origins on the nose. It's very complex and compact, yet you'll find aromas of cherries and sour cherries, blackberries and plums, along with delicate spice, floral notes, and subtle citrus. On the palate, those fruit, spice, and floral aromas come back, with fully ripe fruits and soft flowers. You'll notice the acidity and wood, and the tannins are smooth. All in all, it's very, very balanced. Pure Panzano with great depth. Delicate caramel notes linger on the long finish.
