A day that suits you.

I organize and accompany exclusive wine tours—personalized, individual, and with that extra something that makes your Chianti Classico experience unique.

What my adventure tours offer:

  • Small, private, and just for you

You spend the whole day with people you already know—family, friends, or colleagues. No strangers join in.
A maximum of six people ensures that it remains personal. Conversations arise naturally, and I can respond to everyone. Anything is possible, whether in pairs, threes, or alone.

  • No off-the-shelf program

The day is planned in advance during a personal video call. We talk about what interests you, how much wine, cuisine, or scenery you want to experience, and at what pace.
Based on this, I plan an itinerary that shows you a lot without overwhelming you. With time to arrive, ask questions, and enjoy.

  • Out and about together all day long

I am part of the group all day long. We travel together, from place to place, from conversation to conversation.
I explain, translate, introduce, and keep an eye on the schedule. This creates a shared day where you don't have to worry about anything and can be completely in the moment.

  • Explained at your eye level

It's not about lectures, but conversations. Questions arise automatically—and that's exactly where we come in.
I explain things clearly and without assuming any technical knowledge. This way, you gain knowledge without it feeling like learning.

  • Access that would otherwise remain closed

My long-standing contacts open doors to wineries, restaurants, and places that would be difficult to find on your own.
These are often small businesses, personal encounters, or places off the beaten track. That's exactly where the day becomes special.

  • Experience Chianti Classico with depth

It's not about ticking off as many things as possible. It's about really understanding Chianti Classico.
The wine, the landscape, the people, and their way of life. So that in the end, you don't just have impressions, but take home a real feeling for this region.

A typicalday in Chianti Classico

  • The day begins at a family-run winery in Panzano in Chianti. Over a shared espresso, there is time to get to know each other, engage in initial conversations, and enjoy the view over the vineyards. A relaxed start that allows space to truly arrive.

  • At the beginning, you will get a clear overview of Chianti Classico: its origins, production rules, quality levels, and the interplay of climate, soil, and location. There will be plenty of time for your questions, because it is important to me that you not only learn about Chianti Classico, but truly understand it.

  • The first tasting is all about conscious tasting and comparison. You will learn how the different quality categories of Chianti Classico differ and how they can be classified in terms of taste. We will discuss the influence of origin, aging, and production methods—and how all of this is reflected in the glass.

  • Together with Monia, we head down to the winery's cellar. You will learn more about the grape varieties that are processed here, the development of the winery, and the work in the vineyard. From the cellar, we have a direct view of the vineyards. Monia explains what makes each individual vineyard special—and why these differences are later noticeable in the wine. I think it's very important that you get to know the people and ideas behind the wines.

  • In this example, lunch takes place directly at the winery. Monia works with her own chef for this. Classic Tuscan appetizers are served, followed by freshly prepared pasta with wild boar ragout, and finally a light tiramisu and a glass of sweet wine. Because, in my opinion, food and wine are inseparable.

  • After lunch, we'll take a quick trip to the village of Panzano in Chianti. We'll have an espresso at the bar, look out over the piazza, and immerse ourselves in village life for a while. I'll show you where to find the famous butcher Dario Cecchini —and tell you why Panzano is a special place in Chianti for many people.

  • Then we set off for Radda in Chianti. The road leads through a typical hilly landscape, constantly up and down, with many curves. Along the way, we stop repeatedly at beautiful spots—ideal opportunities for photos and sweeping views of Chianti.

  • Once we arrive in Radda, we visit a second winery located at a significantly higher altitude. Alyson gives us an overview of the estate, how she works, and her responsibility for every single step in the operation. The setting is deliberately different from the morning—smaller, quieter, and very focused.

  • When tasting the three wines produced by the winery, it becomes clear how strongly altitude and climate influence their style. The winery is located at around 450–500 meters above sea level, with the Monti del Chianti in the background. At this point, I show how the climatic conditions within the Chianti Classico region differ—and why wines from Radda often taste very different from those from lower-lying areas. These differences can be explained and experienced particularly well in small groups.

  • Finally, we drive back to Panzano. We enjoy a glass of wine together at the Enoteca in the piazza. The excellent wine list offers a careful selection of wines from Chianti Classico and other regions of the world. It is a beautiful setting to explore questions in more depth, exchange impressions, and bring the day to a close together.

This is what a day with me feels like

Some come out of curiosity, some with a wealth of experience, and some with a wait-and-see attitude. The following voices recount how they spent a day with me.

Nina showed us the Chianti Classico region in a way we would never have discovered on our own—with a blend of warmth, insider knowledge, and pure enjoyment. Every stop was a hit: family-run wineries, magnificent food, postcard views. It felt like we were traveling with a good friend. An unforgettable day that we would recommend to anyone!" Torsten Pügge, Hamburg

We would never have experienced Chianti Classico so intensely otherwise!

Client: Torsten Pügge, Hamburg

Torsten and his companions were already well acquainted with wine and had also traveled to other wine regions. In Tuscany, they were less interested in the basics and more interested in delving deeper into the region, its atmosphere, and the interplay of wine, landscape, and enjoyment.

With Nina, they experienced Chianti Classico and Tuscany in a way that would not have been possible on their own: family-run wineries, great food, special places, and views that will stay with them forever. Despite their previous experience, they gained a new perspective on the region—more personal, closer, more intense.

This experience shows that even for travelers who are experienced in wine, new depth emerges when knowledge, regional roots, and personal guidance come together.

“Nina opened up a whole new world for me—with so much heart, knowledge, and passion that I was immediately swept away. Suddenly, I not only understood wine, but I also felt a real connection to the people behind it. I felt like I was part of a real wine family. Simply wow!” Angelita H. Eriksen, Napp, Norway

“What an experience!”

My client: Angelita H. Eriksen from Norway

Angelita was very interested in wine, but often felt that traditional tastings were too technical and left little room for personal connection. She didn't just want to understand wine, she wanted to get to know the people behind it and really immerse herself in it.

Our day together in Chianti Classico was therefore less about technical terms and ratings and more about encounters, conversations, and shared experiences. Wine was not explained, but experienced.

This experience shows how powerful wine education can be when knowledge, emotion, and genuine closeness come together—and interest gives rise to connection.

"Nina didn't just guide us through Chianti—she immersed us in the world of Chianti Classico. Her expertise on terroir, grape varieties, and winemaking is impressive, yet she always remains approachable and personal. The variety of wineries she selected for us was particularly exciting—from traditional estates to insider tips. You rarely get so many genuine insights like this." Florian Kempinger, Salzburg

"This brings expertise to life and makes it personal"

Client: Florian Kempinger, Hangar-7, Salzburg

Florian brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table. For him, it wasn't about learning the basics, but diving deeper into Chianti Classico, its diversity, its wineries, and the interplay of terroir, style, and people.

During our time together, the focus was precisely on this depth: in-depth insights into grape varieties, vinification, and origin, combined with carefully selected wineries—from traditional estates to genuine discoveries. Despite the high level of expertise, the approach remained personal and accessible.

This experience shows that even for professionals, real added value is created when expertise, personal relationships, and emotional connections come together.
