Antonio Galloni recommends: Chianti Classico 2015 and 2014!

Tasting different Chianti Classico wines from the 2015 vintage

Antonio Galloni is definitely one of the world's top wine journalists. On his 'Vinous' platform, he recently took another look at Chianti Classico in an article. After tasting various Chianti Classico wines, all from the 2015 vintage, he noted several pleasing things in his article: First, that the vintage is among the absolute best of recent years. Also, you get a lot of quality in Chianti Classico for an amazingly good price, according to the wine expert. That's exactly what I've been saying for years! Because when you compare the price-to-quality ratio of Chianti Classico to other amazing wines worldwide, it's totally on point. And Antonio totally gets me when he tells wine lovers not to forget about the 2014 Chianti Classico. Because of the weird weather in 2014, the wine press wrote off the wines from that growing season way too soon and, frankly, totally unfairly. So, keep the 2014 Chianti Classico in mind – for me, it's a wonderfully easy-drinking, enjoyable vintage from perhaps the most beautiful wine region in the world.Antonio Galloni: Chianti Classico: "The Stellar 2015s and Surprising 2014s"
